Senior Copywriter | Content Specialist

We’re looking for a sharp, creative, and thoughtful copywriter who can turn complex ideas into clear, engaging, and memorable content.

This role is ideal for someone who understands B2B marketing, enjoys working with technology-led businesses, and can write for different stages of the buyer journey. You’ll help shape campaign messaging, brand narratives, short-form content, and marketing communication across digital channels.

What you’ll do:

  • Write clear, engaging, and high-impact copy for marketing and branding campaigns
  • Turn detailed information into sharp messaging for digital channels
  • Contribute to content marketing strategy with the marketing team
  • Create short-form content for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, visuals, paid media, events, and promotional campaigns
  • Develop scripts and content ideas for videos, webinars, thought leadership, and campaign assets
  • Conduct market and audience research to understand business context, buyer needs, technology trends, and industry language
  • Align content with target geographies, ICPs, buyer personas, and campaign objectives
  • Build brand narratives that reflect Focalworks’ expertise in software development, digital experiences, ecommerce, web applications, and AI-led solutions
  • Manage the content calendar from research and planning to content production across marketing channels
  • Write audience-specific content for different industries, personas, and campaign goals
  • Review content performance and use engagement insights to improve future messaging

What you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B content writing, copywriting, or content marketing
  • MBA in Marketing or a related qualification with relevant experience
  • Experience working with technology, IT services, software, or digital business teams
  • Strong command of English across reading, writing, editing, and communication
  • Ability to write concise, creative, and compelling messaging
  • Strong research skills and the ability to understand complex business and technology topics
  • Experience writing for multiple digital formats and marketing channels
  • Good understanding of brand voice, audience intent, and buyer journey communication
  • Ability to work with marketing, design, sales, and technical teams
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple content priorities

What would be great to have:

  • Experience writing content for IT services, software product development, ecommerce, web applications, or AI solutions
  • Ability to convert long-form inputs into short, campaign-ready messaging
  • Experience with content calendars, campaign planning, and content production workflows
  • Understanding of content analytics and engagement measurement
  • Exposure to long-form content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, or thought leadership articles
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn content, paid media copy, email marketing, and event-led campaigns
